Paying with Yaspa is faster, easier and more secure than other payment methods. Your money is usually transferred within seconds.
1. SpeedPayments through Yaspa run over what’s called ‘faster payment rails’: high-speed virtual train tracks between banks. In the UK these are called, indeed, the Faster Payment network; and in Europe we use SEPA Instant. When a payment is sent it is delivered almost instantaneously. This means you always know exactly how much money you have to hand.
Occasionally we find banks that are not yet using the instant payment system, and so your payment may take a little longer to go through. You’ll see these banks identified when you make a payment.
2. Ease-of-use
Anyone who has typed in account and sort code numbers wrongly, or hung out of a window trying to get a confirmation code by text, will know how onerous online payments can be. Yaspa removes all that hassle.
Recipient bank account details are prefilled, so you do not have to type anything, and you authorise your payment using your bank’s biometric checks (e.g. face ID), so payments take just seconds to make.
3. Secure
Much of the fraud that occurs in payments comes from stolen or otherwise intercepted bank cards. Yaspa cuts out cards completely. Your payments are made by you, directly via your own banking app. Super safe, and super secure.
